Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO)

The Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) is the national space agency of Bangladesh, focusing on the peaceful use of space science and remote sensing technology for national development.

SPARRSO conducts multi-disciplinary research in areas including agriculture, forestry, fisheries, water resources, land use, weather and climate, environment, oceanography, and geology.
